【一】出國旅行對學生來說是一件好事。出國不但可以幫助學生加強語文並能

更進一步的了解外國文化。 現在越來越多的台灣學生選擇在寒暑假出國留學。

有的學生出國留學選擇正式的語言課程，有的則是寧願自已學習，並住親友

家，認識當地的朋友。 雖然這些學生只是去短短的幾個月，他們的語文能力還

是有所增加，而且回台灣後，他們更能深刻的了解自己和所居住的環境 。

It’s a good experience for students to travel abroad. Not only can students

 improve their languages abilities, but they can also learn to better

understand the cultures of other countries. These days more and more

students study overseas during their winter and summer vacations. Some

students enroll in formal language programs. Others have relatives abroad

who they can live with, so they study on their own and make friends with the

 locals. Although the students only stay abroad for a matter of weeks or

months, they can greatly improve their language abilities and understanding

of a foreign culture. When they return to Taiwan, they can share their

 experiences and new knowledge.

【二】Department stores in the capital, suffering from a prolonged slump, are

 now changing tactics.They are marketing new items and have made their

displays more interesting. Some stores have reduced the floor space for

name-brand products in order to display their own items.  Some are using

their existing floor space to open their own brand store.  And some stores are

focusing on specific target groups - for example, businessmen in their 20's.

Stores with their own brands are able to provide their products at prices 30%

lower than name-brands. They are also more capable of quickly adapting to

new fashion trends.

首都裡的百貨公司由於遭受持續不景氣的影響，目前正改變策略。他們銷售新

的產品而且將展示變得更有趣。有些百貨公司為了展示自有的商品而將名牌的

展示空間減少，有些則利用避難的空間營業販售自有品牌的商品。有些則是主

打特定族群，如二十幾歲的年輕人。百貨公司自有品牌的商品價錢都能比名牌

少百分之三十。他們也更靈活的去適應流行的趨勢。
